Glittery Ramadan Frame Tutorial

In Seattle today we had a massive thunderstorm that kept us inside most of the morning.

But around mid day we started to drive each other crazy, so we all piled into the car and headed to Goodwill.

We love to hit up their crafts and office section for craft ideas.  While rummaging through the picture frames, I found this little one that just begged to be taken home.

Once I got it home, my eldest daughter helped turn it into this masterpiece with just a few extra supplies. She then played with it, shaking it like a snow globe, for the better part of the afternoon.
Glittery Ramadan Frame
Supplies
Duct tape
Letter stamps
Star glitter
Small picture frame
Ink
Cardstock
Scissors

Take apart your frame and place the glass on top of your paper.  Cut the paper along the edges of the glass exactly.

Stamp out the words RAMADAN KAREEM (Blessed Ramadan) in the middle of your cardstock. (We were able to make everything centered by gently holding our paper in half and then started stamping our letters from the middle towards the edges)

Place the cardstock on top of the backing of the frame, pour star glitter and add the glass.

Place the main part of the frame on top and holding tightly, flip everything over.  Use the duct tape on the edges so the glitter doesn't fall out when you shake your frame.

Have fun shaking your frame and seeing your stars fly across the Ramadan sky.

Here is our little frame next to our big frame we made last year.
