Our community is putting on a Ramadan toy gift drive. We have started collecting the toys to wrap and we thought it might be nice to add a little extra touch with some curled star tags.
You’ll need
Ruler
Scissors
5 ½ x 5 ½ square double sided cardstock
Star punch
Small piece of solid colour cardstock
Pencil
Pentagon template (we found one online and just traced it)
Glue
Place the pentagon template on your double sided cardstock and trace the pattern.
Place the ruler on the tip of the pentagon and drawn in a 2 inch line.
Cut out along the line around the pentagon and draw the top points together so you can make a tiny little fold.
Place a tiny bit of glue along the left side of the fold.
Curl the glued side over the unglued side until you met the two top points where your fold was created earlier. Do this for all five corners.
Here is a close up of what your star points will look like when you have folded over the points to each other.
Punch out a small star shape.
Glue it down to the middle of your curled star.
